- Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Whisk milk, cream, eggs, sugar, vanilla, cinnamon, and salt until combined.
- Add banana bread and bananas; fold gently. Stir in nuts if using.
- Pour into greased dish and bake for 45-55 minutes until golden.
- Cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.
Notes
Using stale bread helps absorb the custard better.
