Ingredients
  

Cupcake Base
  • 1 box premium vanilla cupcake mix plus ingredients called for on the box, typically eggs, oil, and water
Frosting & Decorations
  • 1 container vanilla frosting
  • Gel food coloring various floral colors like pink, purple, yellow, green
  • Edible floral decorations e.g., sugar flowers, dried edible flowers, fondant flowers
  • Piping bags and tips star, round, leaf
  • Sprinkles or edible glitter Optional

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven and prepare cupcake batter according to box instructions.
  2. Bake cupcakes as directed on the box. Let cool completely.
  3. Divide frosting into separate bowls, one for each color you want to create.
  4. Add a small amount of gel food coloring to each bowl and mix well until desired color is achieved.
  5. Fill piping bags with colored frosting.
  6. Frost cupcakes with desired designs using piping tips. Consider using a star tip for rosettes, a round tip for smooth swirls, and a leaf tip for leaves.
  7. Decorate cupcakes with edible floral decorations and sprinkles/glitter, if desired.
  8. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow frosting to set.

Notes

For best results, use high-quality gel food coloring for vibrant and true colors.
