Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Boil potatoes for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain.
- Combine ham, onion, cheese, soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
- Fold potatoes into the mixture.
- Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs if desired.
- Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a blend of cheddar and Gruyere cheese.
