  • 6 medium potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 2 cups cooked turkey ham diced
  • 1 small onion finely chopped
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 10.75 oz condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup sour cream
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon paprika
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs optional for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil potatoes for 10-15 minutes until tender. Drain.
  3. Combine ham, onion, cheese, soup, sour cream, milk, garlic powder, and paprika. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Fold potatoes into the mixture.
  5. Pour into a greased 9×13-inch baking dish. Sprinkle breadcrumbs if desired.
  6. Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a blend of cheddar and Gruyere cheese.
