Method
- Thinly slice the onions. Dice the turkey ham into bite-sized pieces.
- Peel and slice the potatoes thinly. Keep potato slices in water to prevent browning, then pat dry. Grate the cheese. Mince the parsley.
- Combine the diced turkey ham, grated cheese and sliced onions in a large mixing bowl.
- Layer sliced potatoes, onion, cheese, and turkey ham mixture in the slow cooker.
- Pour the mushroom soup and milk into the bowl. Add salt, pepper, garlic salt and parsley.
- Whisk everything together until smooth.
- Pour the milk mixture over the layered ingredients.
- Put the lid on the slow cooker and set it on high for 4 hours.
- Let sit for 10 minutes after turning off the cooker. Serve and enjoy!
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of cheddar and Gruyere cheese.
