Ingredients
  

Wet Ingredients
  • 1 cup ripe mashed banana around 3 medium bananas
  • cup unsalted melted butter
  • 2 eggs eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
Dry Ingredients
  • 1.5 cups all-purpose flour
  • ¾ teaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • cup sugar
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips plus more for topping

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix melted butter, sugar, eggs, vanilla, and mashed bananas in a large bowl.
  3. Combine dry ingredients and add to wet mixture; stir until just combined.
  4. Fold in chocolate chips and distribute batter into muffin liners.
  5. Bake for 17-19 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean. Cool on a wire rack.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle additional chocolate chips on top before baking.
