  • 6 Yukon gold potatoes sliced
  • 2 cups cooked turkey ham diced
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella optional
  • 1.5 cups heavy cream
  • 1 cup chicken broth
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 0.5 teaspoon black pepper
  • 0.5 teaspoon smoked paprika

Method
 

  1. Slice potatoes thinly.
  2. Make roux with butter and flour, then whisk in cream and broth.
  3. Add seasonings and thicken sauce slightly.
  4. Layer potatoes, turkey ham, onions, cheese, and sauce in crock pot.
  5. Cook on LOW 6–7 hours or HIGH 3–4 hours.
  6. Serve warm with parsley.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of Gruyere and Parmesan cheese.
