  • 2 pounds potatoes sliced
  • 0.5 medium yellow onion diced
  • 2 cups diced turkey ham (16 ounces)
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 2 10 ounce cans cream of mushroom
  • 1 tablespoon dried thyme
  • to taste salt & pepper

Method
 

  1. Wash and peel potatoes, then slice into 1/4 inch thick slices.
  2. Place sliced potatoes into the crockpot.
  3. Dice onion, then add onion, dried thyme, and cubed turkey ham into the crockpot.
  4. Add cream of mushroom soup and mix. It doesn't have to be perfect.
  5. Cook on high for 3.5-4 hours or low for 6-7 hours, stirring occasionally.
  6. Once potatoes are softened, add cheddar cheese and mix. Melt for 5-10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper.

Notes

Stirring during cooking helps the potatoes cook evenly.
