  • 2 cups Cooked turkey ham diced
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Milk
  • 4 tablespoons Butter
  • 1/4 cup All-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon Onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black pepper
  • 2 teaspoons Fresh thyme optional
  • 1 cup Cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1/2 cup Parmesan cheese shredded

Method
 

  1. Layer sliced potatoes and diced ham in the crockpot.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and whisk in flour, then gradually add milk and cream. Stir in seasonings.
  3. Pour sauce over potatoes and ham. Top with cheddar and parmesan cheese.
  4. Cook on low for 5-6 hours or high for 2-3 hours, or until potatoes are tender.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of Gruyere and Parmesan cheese. Ensure potatoes are thinly sliced for even cooking.
