Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter, sugar, and egg; add extracts. Mix in dry ingredients. Roll into balls and place on baking sheets.
- Flatten cookies slightly, add sprinkles if desired, then bake for 8-10 minutes until golden.
- Cool cookies on wire racks, then decorate with royal icing and edible decorations.
