Ingredients
  

Noodles
  • 9 pieces lasagna noodles cooked and drained
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 egg egg
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper for seasoning

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Mix ricotta, 1 cup mozzarella, Parmesan, egg, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Spread marinara in a baking dish, fill and roll noodles, place seam-side down.
  4. Top with remaining marinara and mozzarella, cover with foil, bake 25 mins, then uncover and bake 10 mins.
  5. Let cool slightly, garnish with basil, and serve.

Notes

For best results, use fresh basil and ensure noodles are cooked al dente.
