  • 12 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 jar marinara sauce
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 0.5 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • to taste Salt and pepper
  • optional Fresh basil for garnish

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Cook tortellini, then drain.
  2. Mix tortellini, marinara, ricotta, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper.
  3. Transfer to a greased 9x13-inch dish, top with mozzarella and Parmesan.
  4. Bake covered for 25 minutes, then uncover and bake 15 more until bubbly and golden.
  5. Let cool briefly, garnish with basil if desired, and serve.

Notes

For a creamier texture, add a splash of heavy cream before baking.
