Method
- Prepare the cooker insert by spraying lightly with cooking oil.
- Add half of the potatoes, onion, ham, and ⅓ of the cheese to the bottom of the cooker.
- Sprinkle with salt and pepper.
- Repeat the layers.
- Finish with a final layer of sliced potatoes.
- Whisk the soup and heavy cream together and pour over the layers.
- Top with the remaining ham and cheese.
- Cover and cook on low for 6 hours or on high for 4 hours.
Notes
For a richer flavor, use a combination of cheddar and Gruyere cheese.
