  • 2 pounds potatoes peeled and cubed
  • 1 pound cooked turkey ham cubed
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 small onion chopped
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 10.75 oz cream of mushroom soup 1 can
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 2 cloves garlic minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/4 cup chopped fresh parsley

Method
 

  1. Combine potatoes, ham, cheese, and onion in a bowl.
  2. Mix sour cream, soup, milk, garlic, salt, pepper, and thyme in another bowl.
  3. Pour soup mixture over potato mixture and stir.
  4. Transfer to a greased slow cooker.
  5. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until potatoes are tender.
  6. Stir in parsley before serving.
  7. Serve hot.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a combination of cheddar and Gruyere cheese.
