Method
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Mix dry ingredients; set aside.
- Cream butter and sugar, then add egg, vanilla, and almond extracts.
- Gradually mix in dry ingredients, form dough balls, place on sheets.
- Flatten balls, sprinkle with colored sugar, bake 8-10 minutes.
- Cool on wire racks before serving.
