Ingredients
  

Dough
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup pure maple syrup
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 3 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • as needed sprinkles or crushed nuts for decoration (optional)

Method
 

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line baking sheets with parchment.
  2. Cream butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until fluffy. Mix in maple syrup, eggs, and vanilla.
  3. Whisk flour, baking soda, and salt; gradually add to wet ingredients. Scoop dough onto sheets, 2 inches apart.
  4. Bake 10-12 minutes until edges are golden. Cool on sheets for 5 minutes.
  5. Melt white chocolate chips. Dip cookies halfway, decorate with sprinkles or nuts, and let set.
